I have had the pleasure to do not once but twice Interviews with the Band  

"Armored Saint". First Interview was done March 11th 2015  with Jeff Duncan the Guitar player of the band.  I will share a brief History of Jeff Duncan:

 

In 1988, Duncan joined heavy metal band Armored Saint, in which he remains a member.

DC4 is composed of Rowan Robertson (guitars), Jeff Duncan (guitars/vocals), Matt Duncan (bass, backing vocals), and Shawn Duncan (drums).

Jeff plays guitar for the Dizzy Reed Band, and Dizzy Reed has played keyboards for DC4.

Jeff has also played in and around Las Vegas, Nevada and also occasionally makes appearances in the Vegas Valley at Sin City Sinners shows.

 

Today I interviewed Gonzo Sandoval Drummer of Armored Saint.

Here is a brief story on how this band got started, In 1982 Gonzo (Drummer) and his brother Phil Sandoval (Guitar) started this band along with members David Prichard (Guitar) (R.I.P.), John Bush (Vocalist) and Joey Vera (Bass). They released their First Ep "Armored Saint" in 1983. Followed by a Full Length Album in 1984 called "March of the Saint." Jeff Duncan joined the band after David  Prichard passed away  from leukemia .  In 1992 John Bush who offered Bush the chance to fill the spot left behind by singer Joey Belladonna, who had been fired from the band. Bush accepted and joined the band, adding alternative rock sensibilities. Anthrax recorded  Sound of White Noise, Stomp 442, Volume 8: The Threat Is Real & We've Come for You All  with Bush in the 90s & 00s. In 1999 during an Anthrax hiatus, Bush got together with Armored Saint bassist Joey Vera. Together they decided to bring back theSymbol of Salvation lineup for an Armored Saint reunion..

 

In todays Metal Talk show on Thursday March 9th 2015 7 pm pst/9 pm cst. We discussed

"Armored Saint's "new CD Release coming June 2 "Win Hands Down". We also discussed their upcoming tours, with Saxon, and 3 shows with Queensryche on August 6th at "The Electric Ballroom" in London. and 2 more in  Holland!!! Look for their  Flyers on the Offical Armored Saint Facebook Page!!!
